This extremely finely knotted urban all silk niche-pattern scatter from NW Turkey, shows a cream-straw field with two lateral and converging trees around a verdant vase. Candy-can striped side colonettes and a flock of singing birds in the branches. Extended straw spandrels. Main border with slightly ragged palmettes, and a double connecting vine. Pile “islands” on both end finishes and a signature cartouche t the top end. A very elegant, precise wall hanging with some age.
