This 1950’s urban-style Sarouk displays a red field centred by a round medallion with eight spadiform points and an octofoil sub-medallion, in shades of ecru. Four-way symmetrical field with palmettes and vinery. Cream main border with palmettes and active tendrils and forked arabesques. Heavy, leathery, solid weave on cotton. Well-woven. Good condition.
