This ivory open ground piece with a complex floral medallion and conforming border was woven in SE Persia for the American market. Natural dyes with an exceptional range of blue. Cochineal red plain outer strip. Well-woven, cotton foundation. Probably 1940’s. Glossy, smooth pile texture.
