From the Fars Province Qashghai tribe, this striking piece shows a simple tripartite pole medallion of boldly stepped dark brown squares, on a natural ecru ground. Tan-brown main border of connected small rectangles. Inner border of humanoid shapes. All – wool construction, moderate weave. Diagnostic striped barber pole overcast edge.
