Most vintage Kashans are red with navy border, so it is rare to find one with a cerulean blue field. Faceted ogival red penanted medallion and ecru conforming sub-medallion. Red and ecru extended corners. Palmettes, leaves and vinery decorate the field. Red “broken border” with rosettes. Well woven, city scatter with a cotton foundation and a moderately short pile.
