This central Persian city carpet presents the characteristic Joshagan design of diamond-shaped floral arrays on a saturated red field. Stepped and deeply nested central diamond and medium blue corners with similar Joshagan diamonds. Dark blue border with squared palmettes and right angle bent leaves. Cotton foundation, medium-fine weave.
