This modern example partakes of the Regence/Louis XV style with an elliptical near black subfield decoratrd with bold acanthus swags and enclosing a vconforming mredallion with a faceted ecru sub-medallion. Light ground with elaborate festoons connecting cprmer ovals with rose baskets. Near black main bprder with doubled vases and encircled rosettes. Moderate weave. Recent. As new condition.
