This finely woven urban NW Persian carpet shows a a near black medallion with eight radiating tulips, on a putty tone ground filled with racemes, individual rosettes, lightly drawn vinery and imaginative leaves. Straw border with round, spiky palmettes. Cotton foundation, finely woven .Precisely executed. Standard Persian size instead of 8’ by 10’. Very good condition., almost as new.
