The salmon sub-field is defined by swags creating a broadly scalloped pattern, with a near black medallion with doubled pendants and a cream sub-medallion. Floret sprays in the cream field and sub-field. Near black border with palmettes and barbed, sickle leaves. Short, firm wool pile with silk details, on a silk warp in a very fine urban weave. As new condition.
