This NW Persian Serapi-grade Heriz shows a small central medallion extrends long arms ending in huge ragged, dark blue pendants, on the madder red field decorated with dark blue barbed leaves, stiff stems and geometric florets. Luminous medium/light blue border with ragged escutcheon palmettes. Superior “Serapi” weave on cotton. Medium knotting density. Good condition.
