This central Persian Chahar Mahal weaving area scatter shows a five by nine windowpane “garden” panel design of red, navy and ecru squares forming a delightful over pattern. Each panel encloses a flower, boteh or bouquet design. Cream main border of botehs, palmettes and an arching meander. Cotton foundation, medium weave. Village work.
