In a French Directoire Aubusson style, the central purple octagon is focused on an acanthus octofoil, and set and set within a swagged octagonal frame. Conforming outer acanthus frame and wreath with trophy cups. Acanthus decorated panels at each end, and a surrounding border of open diamonds and toothy curved leaves. Modern. As new condition.
