Of superior “Serapi” quality, with all natural dyes, this all-way characteristic NW Persian rustic room size shows a navy octogramme medallion, enclosing four palmette lappets and an ecru sub-medallion. Green ragged palmette pendants on a madder red field. Ecru corners with vivid blue oblique projections. Red ground reversing turtle strip-style border. Moderate weave on cotton. Significant wear toward on end. Still a noble carpet with all handspun materials. Fair condition.
