This classic west Persian urban Kurdish slit-tapestry technique scatter shows a straw-sand ground decorated with three complete, offset Herati columns with open diamonds, paired swirling lancet leaves, rosettes and palmette. Straw border of stylized flower module. Comb joins of vertical colour transitions. Well-woven on cotton warps with wool pattern wefts.
