A lightly stepped red diamond medallion encloses dense ecru volutes, and suspends very unusual octogramme red pendants with octogramme sub-pendants. Ecru field with small flowers. Red corners with flower trails. Red main border with cartouches and octogrammes. Discernible rust abrash across one end main border. Medium blue accents, but no dark blue. Fine central Persian urban weave on cotton. Velvety Merino wool pile. Good condition for age and use.
