This dark blue ground narrow scatter shows a very widely spaced flower and wreath module pattern. Red rosette border and ecru minors. Dark blue antique Sarouks are often attributed to Mohajeran village in the area, claimed to weave the best Sarouks, usually on blue rather than red grounds. Well woven on cotton. An attractive and versatile west Persian piece from the 1920’s.
