This  eastern Caucasian scatter shows a honey gold field with a compact version  of one of the classic Chi-Chi allover designs of geometric  rosettes, palmettes, flowers and leaves, in seven columns. The equally classic  “crab” border of  large, serrated rosettes and smaller,attached buds, is rendered on an ecru ground with straw, green, red and blueaccents. Inner and outer bitonal  keyhole reciprocal  minors. Firm, almost leathery texture. All-wool construction, natural dyes, medium weave. Good condition. Good
