This well-woven northern Indian scatter features an unusual 2/1/2 pattern of stepped diamonds amid palmettes and straight vinery, on a straw-sand ground. Narrow border system with leaves, flattened flowers and lozenges. Cotton foundation. An attractive alternate to typical Persian medallion or allover pattern rugs. No strong reds and no blues.
