The rich indigo navy field shows an end-to-end, two column layout of paired, fascing thin petal palmettes in a suggested square lattice with blue lappet-fringed lozenges at the crossings. Rose main border of tricolour, recurved serrated leaves and complex palmettes. Attractive light blue. Natural dyes. Very solid weave, highly resilient short pile. Will last forever under most traffic. Quality Kurdish town scatter from NW Persia. Good condition.
