The abrashed medium blue field develops into stepped corners decorated with Y-shaped flowers, and is centred by a madder red field enclosing a broadly stepped ivory hexagonal medallion and conforming navy sub-medallion. Ecru strip-style border of stepped semi-rosettes, jagged stiff intervening leaves and doubled organizing staves. Cotton foundation. Caucasian colours. Natural dyes. Moderate weave, from NW Persia.
