Inscribed in one end border, this striking long carpet shows an abrashed beige field with a fractional pole medallion of three roughly pointed navy cartouches, along with six separate leafy plants. Red corners with claw intrusions. Strip-style navy border with various palmettes. Translating the inscription may give us some better clue on the origin of this interesting carpet. Medium weaver on cotton. Natural undyed sheep wool field.
